Academic Journey: A Virtual Tour Experience Featuring Interactive Avatars and Immersive Educational Worlds
Developed a 360-degree web platform for the Centre for Applied English Studies (CAES) at HKU, featuring interactive campus tours with animated teacher avatars, a mascot, and embedded video, game, and task buttons to present academic content in an engaging way.
Mascot Design
An owl mascot was designed for CAES, featuring both 2D and 3D renditions.
Each CAES lecturer was assigned a distinct 3D avatar, specifically customized to reflect their personal attributes and professional role.
360 Web Development
The website was developed using Pano2VR to feature immersive 360-degree virtual tours, with a custom-designed user interface.
